Intuit
Challenge:
Intuit had a vertical marketing strategy that included creating industry-specific accounting and business management applications. One such application, Intuit Master Builder, was focused on the construction industry. A major part of their marketing push was Web seminars, at a volume of two to three per month.
To drive traffic to their seminars, they opted for an email marketing program. They had several marketing managers producing the programs and offers for these seminars and they were on a tight budget.
Solution:
To best meet these needs, Sutherland Corporation designed a series of email templates that Intuit could easily re-use, to maximize marketing value and keep down costs. Because of the high number of campaigns, Sutherland Corporate set-up an Intuit-only Web site where marketing managers could review archives of previous campaigns. The Web site also had an order form where marketing programs managers could order updated or new email templates automatically.
Result:
Intuit saved thousands by re-using email templates, and simply editing the copy for additional email campaigns. The order form on the Web site made it easy for multiple marketing programs managers to take advantage of previous campaigns, and customize emails to meet their specific needs. |
